  amy uploaded a 8gb windows iso to a shared notebook. it probably does this for all. this should be handled. it is just blowing up ram doing this operation lol.

  shipped in 2026-10-04-r5. an 8 GiB selection is refused before reading. imports and guest upload buffers are bounded. a normal attachment still reaches the host with its exact bytes and survives reload. all 11 CI lanes pass.
